Best Wishes

I loved the color combo with our NEW In Colors of Crushed Curry & Soft Suede together. It's a very soothing color combination.

Copywrite Stampin' Up!© 1989-2009

I started with Whisper White as the base of the card (8-1/2 x 5-1/2) and layered our NEW In Color Crushed Curry (4 x 5-1/4). Then I took a piece of Whisper White (2-1/2 x 4) & stamped the flower using markers. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom of the Whisper White & round the corners. Wrap a piece of Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon around the Whisper White & adhere to the backside. Punch a strip (1-1/2 x 4) of Soft Suede cardstock using the Scallop edge punch & adhere to the side. Mount it near the bottom right corner.

Tri-fold card

This was a very easy card! And it turned out so cute! There's no stamping at all! See below for instructions.

It's actually very easy when you follow the instructions...it just looks confusing.

I used the Trifold-shutter-card instuctions from Sandy Hancock's blog.

Here's written instructions:

Score a 5 ½” x 12” rectangle of card stock at 4” and 8”.
Cut a slit 1” from each long edge, starting at 2” and ending 10”.

Score above and below that slit.
Fold on all scored lines of the top and bottom sections, alternating Mountain and Valley folds.

The two center score lines between the slits are folded in the opposite directions.
You may also cut the slit at 1 ¼” or 1 ½” in depth, depending on the size of the images you want to use to decorate the card.
For a different style of Tri-Fold, score at 2”, 4”, 8”, and 10”.
The 2 and 10” folds are Mountain.

The 4” and 8” folds are Valley folds.

Clear as mud?

3D Roses water bottles a'la Sarah & Stella

With all of those extra 3D Roses I made, my nieces wanted to make their very own altered water bottles....

This is Sarah...she's 6 (almost 7 according to her).

And this is Stella....she's 4.

And they are the loves of my life.

Thanks for looking.

water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink...

I had a bunch of these little mini Arrowhead drinking water bottles and thought that I'd recycle them into something cute.

I couldn't find anything remotely close to what I was looking for, so I designed the holder myself.

Here's what I came up with...

cheers to you

I'm on a roll......two challenges with one card!
This first challenge is from Sketch Saturday blog.

And the second challenge is Dawn McVey's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge.

This card came together so quickly...Probably had something to do with the stamp set sitting on the table after making cards from the other challenges I've been doing.

Thinking of You

I love the Sizzix Big shot! Have I ever told you that? It's my favorite! These super easy cards came together in a flash! I got the idea from Gretchen Barron's card here. I just changed the colors and Designer Series Paper.

I used our new In Color cardstock Melon Mambo. I think that I'm going to say that it's my new favorite color. Simply score your cardstock in half & when you run it through your Big Shot, make sure that the scored end doesn't touch the scallops on the die.

Recipe ~All supplies Stampin' Up!© unless otherwise noted~

Stamps Kind & Caring Thoughts (Level 3 Hostess)
Ink Melon Mambo Classic Ink, Chocolate chip Classic Ink
Cardstock Melon Mambo (4 1/2 x 8), Whisper White (3 1/2 x 3 1/2)

Sizzix Big Shot Square Scallop (exclusively Stampin' Up!)
Ribbon 5/8" White Grosgrain (unknown)
Accessories SNAIL Adhesive, 12" cutter, Stylus
